Sacred Songs of Tibet
A unique musical interpretation of spiritual songs, profound prayers and mantras taken from the Tradition of Sutra and Tantra in Tibetan Buddhism, compiled by Amrit Stein through her own experience of extensive Vajrayana practice. The precious texts, dedicated to spreading the message of compassion to all sentient beings, date back as far as 900 years ago.
arrangements were made in collaboration with Tibetan musicians in Kathmandu and also with Dharamsala-trained musician and composer Tsering Topten Nelung who accompanies Amrit Stein with ritual instruments, piwang (horse-head violin) and flute.
